Loving-Kindness and Meditation

The Loving-Kindness and meditation practices have shown significant results in my life.  I am now listening more and talking less.  Through daily meditation and proper nutrition, I am now able to control my blood pressure without meds.

The use of these practices have allowed me to go deeper into my subconscious to see anger, selfishness, resentment, and an unwilling spirit to change.  After some soul searching and a willing spirit, I gradually let go of those things that kept me in bondage by realizing that acts of kindness is my most powerful weapon in destroying negative emotions.  My daily mantra now is,

"May all individuals gain freedom from suffering.
May all individuals find sustained health, happiness, and wholeness.
May I assist all individuals in gaining freedom from suffering.
May I assist all individuals in finding health, happiness, and wholeness" (Dacher, 2006).
